There are so many parallels in our journeys!!! 20+ years of advocacy, books, speaking engagements, etc. (Even dad’s with dementia – although my father actually passed this summer. In fact, I was writing a very similar blog post this time last year but then my Dad went downhill very fast.) I have felt for some time now: We simply MUST meet someday!
All my best and much gratitude and admiration for all you have done.
I absolutely agree Teresa. Thank you for your kind words and also for all that you have and continue to do x

Congratulations on the 20 years Elaine. My son will soon be 21 and this post reminds me that discovering and reading your book was the first time I connected with another woman’s postpartum psychosis story, which was a huge comfort and inspiration to me at a time that my own experience was still very raw and painful. Eyes without Sparkle remains on my bookshelf today and there are not many books that I hold on to after the first reading. Thank you for writing it and for all the other work you’ve done as one of the first pioneers of sharing your personal PP story to positively impact others.
