Dear Elaine
I think your thoughts about the documentary are so true and I found it really moving but totally honest and gives people an insight into this awful illness and end the stigma and know you can get better xx I had psychosis after my son 3 and a half years ago and would love to help if I could anyone going through this as it feels almost sureal now that it happened although I think I’m much stronger and have learnt a lot about life since and really enjoy the lovely times with my son now who’s nearly 4
Thankyou love Vicky x
Just wanted to say I too suffered with severe PND with psychosis after my second child which brought me to a 3 month stay in a mother and baby unit and then 12 sessions of ECT and watching Hannah’s story really brought it home to me that this does happen to other women and I wasn’t the only lady to have received ECT as I believed I was. Would love to get in contact with Hannah and I already know Tracey in the picture because we have done some work together in the form of board talks to highlight the importance of the mental health in mothers department in our area and how it needs more funding and recognition.
It’s good to see others sharing their stories.
